I’ve been working on shaping the front of the cat, the folds where the body bends and the hair flows over the bends. Still a way to go, but getting there.
Texturing 10-08-08
Adding texture is time consuming, but can really make a carving come to life. I started with a v-gouge, added some finer detail with a smaller v-gouge, then finished with a fine skew woodburner tip.
